Engineering the fiber architecture. ∙ Thin film deposition: inorganic nanocrystals in polymer matrix ∙ UV-VIS-IR spectroscopy ∙ Absorption and emission spectroscopy ∙ Photoluminescence in excitation (PLE). ∙ Time resolved spectroscopy: streak camera and time correlated single photon counting (TCSPC) ∙ Single nanoparticle/nanofiber spectroscopy: Confocal microscopy, Hanbury-Brown and Twiss experiments ∙ Polarization-resolved spectroscopy. ∙ Single fiber transmission spectroscopy (optical amplification and losses).
