The International Conference on Crystal Growth and Epitaxy-ICCGE-20 will be held in Naples from July 30th to August 4th 2023.
It is the latest of the series started with ICCG-1 in Boston, MA, USA in 1966, which recognized the crystal growth as an independent discipline, rather than a subsidiary to several other fields. The key principle is that the theory and practice of crystal growth is common across a range of materials and applications and that we have much to share with one another.
It will provide sessions for presentation and discussion regarding recent research and development activities in all aspects of crystal growth, epitaxy, characterization and applications including both general sessions and special topical symposia.
Among the nineteen very interesting sections which cover several topics related to crystal growth, the Section “Growth at the nanoscale: nanocrystals, nanowires, nanomaterials”,
co-chaired by Prof. Stefano Sanguinetti, Dept. of Material Science, University of Milan-Bicocca
and Prof. Florinda Costa, Physics Department, University of Aveiro,
has three Invited Lectures:
– Prof. Gregor Koblmüller, Technical University of Munich, Germany
– Prof. Richard Nötzel, South China Normal University, China
– Dr. Paola Prete, IMM-CNR Lecce, Italy
